Hi Does anyone know of a button combination that will clear all the history data from an Envi and return it to factory settings? |

I concur with Alan IOW. There is no mention of a factory reset in the manual. It doesn't matter how much someone shouts RTFM you won't find what isn't there. Perhaps johnlee should learn to be a little more tolerant before shouting profanities. I have found from trial and error that the reset sequence is:- hold down up and down arrows whilst switching power on. The full screen will show and the three bars will rise and fall, the screen will blank and show what I presume to be the version of software. Switch the power off and on again and the system appears to be reset. Seeker mentions the DSB field. As I haven't a clue what DSB is, I can't comment. Having had my rant and put in my two pennyworth I would like to say Hello to all. I am a Silver Surfer rapidly approaching seven oh. As you may have gathered I cannot abide bad language. I don't go too much on acronyms either. How much time did either johnlee or Seeker save by not typing the full words. |
