@SaFeHeX My country is Portugal.
The electric current is 230V
As I understand it the unit works with 240V, how to make the device work with 230V?
There is very little difference in 230 or 240 Volt. Infact, the voltage varies quite a lot in most countries depending on the time of day. It would not be unusual to see anything between say 220 and 250 so a small difference is not the problem.
I noticed your Envir has price in cents but does it show Euros or Dollars?
At first i thought you might be using a European or UK model in America where there would be twice as much current used by an appliance for it's same wattage because the voltage is halved but that appears not to be the case. I'm struggling here trying to do the math on the effect but i think i have that right?
Therefore a European model being used in America would show twice as much wattage than the actual wattage because a current clamp would be getting twice as much current through it for the same wattage consumption, then the Envir would do the multiplication and show twice as much current than is actually being used.
It's a hard one to think about but that is where my thoughts were at.
Are you using a current clamp? I had assumed this, but as Andygodber says, maybe you are using an Optismart for the sensor?
Sadly i don't have any more ideas at the moment to be able to help any further so hopefully someone else here can help.
