I bought an EnviR but its built-in clock loses about 10 minutes a week. Is that normal? Do I really have to reset the time every few days to keep it accurate? Is there any adjustment I can make so it runs faster?

Thanks
Glenn

Yes, I've noticed that it needs a regular tweak to keep correcting the time, mine seems to lose just over a minute a day

Yes, my one is the same :(

All three generations of CC display units have been very poor time keepers even when running stand-alone.

Automan.

Mine has been running for nearing 1 year and has only lost 10 minutes.

I'm not "proud" of it persay, just stating the fact. Compared to others who have lost 10 minutes a week, 10 minutes a year seems much more tolerable. I haven't even bothered to reset mine actually since I don't really use the clock on it for anything anyways.

Thanks for your replies. Actually my EnviR's clock accuracy seems to be much better now - it seemed to be only during the first week of using it that the clock drifted by ten minutes.

I also thought the time keeping on the EnviR was poor but then read somewhere else on the forum that the clock "stops" when it is performing other tasks such as uploading data, registering new transmitters. As result I kept having to add minutes as the clock kept falling behind.

But since I've stopped "tweaking" my configuration and it's just sitting there pushing data to the PC every few seconds I've rarely needed to amend the time.
