I am getting large "negative" spikes reported for the ambient temperature. The CC meter and bridge are in my study which has a temperature of around 18C. At irregular intervals from about 10 mins to several hours, the temperature is reported as 0C.

Has anyone else observed similar problem?

Do you mean a 'trough' ie data is reported as 0 for all channels, like the example below? I get these every 2-3 days, I have assume its an issue with the data upload from the bridge, could be a local network/ISP/hosting issue.
