I have a new CC system, and naturally I'm searching all over for software and trial everything in the way till I get (hopefully) one that works to my liking.
The initial bridge setup was straight forward and it worked like a charm. I could see my CC data appearing there in less than 10 minutes, with all the IAMs data. The problem was that this was over-simplistic, I need to analyze the data, calculate costs per appliance, etc, and the CC portal seemed too week for that.
So I went to my next trial, and tried Pachube. I created a new account there as I was new to Pachube, I entered the feed ID and was able in short time to see the results there. The problem was that I stopped seeing them on my.currentcost.com. Now on current cost portal the bridge appeared as frozen, although I saw it was pumping data to Pachube.
I was not satisfied with this at all, mainly because Pachube only presented me with graphs, again no analysis, no sums, no aggregations, nothing more than a different way to present what my.currentcost.com was already giving me in the first place. So I just cancelled my pachube account and moved on to the next software trial, still unsatisfied with the results thus far.
It was then I was horrified to know that although my Pachube was successfully cancelled (I could not even logon again), the bridge still did not communicate with my.currentcost.com. There the bridge still appeared as FROZEN. And it stayed there till now.
I've tried to remove the bridge (device option) from my.currentcost.com and registering it again, I tried to unplug the bridge over and over again, I checked communications and saw the bridge is still sending data somewhere, I even created a new account on Pachube to see if the feed was getting there, all to no avail.
So what's up with this Pachube thing? Why has it "kidnapped" my bridge and how can I get it back? I see a lot of posts telling us how to register the bridge on Pachube, but not one single post on how to unregister it.
Any help please?
