Hi guys!

I have a quick question about the Optismart reader now it has been released. Is the Optismart reader used as a replacement for the 'clamp' type meter reader & transmitter, or is it used in conjunction with the clamp transmitter?

Many thanks!

Hello Sir,

The Optismart is a stand alone unit. All you will need is a Current Cost display.

Thank you.

Elliot.

Is it possible to combine an Optismart as an 'appliance' together with 3 clamps on a 3 phase supply using one ENVIR? I want to be able to get accurate usage using the Optismart but the clamps to measure it in more detail per phase? Thanks.

Eliot,

I know the Optismart is a stand alone sensor but can it be used in conjunction with some clamps as well so as to compare estimated with actual usage? Can the optismart be treated as an appliance so has a seperate readout?

I was not aware about the optismart usage, but recently I came to know that it can be used with electric meters as well in conjunction.
