As mentioned in another thread I have been looking at a short-term solution to make use of the xml output of the meter pulse count.

Yesterday, I got this to work but today it would seem the OptiSmart on my MicroPV system has added about 8000 meter pulses from nowhere in the last 24 hours.

The other one on my main meter is okay.

Any thoughts please? I hope the pulse count is not getting confused by the red meter LED being on for several hours while no power is being produced?

After two hours....

Sensor=8, Time=21:58:57 Meter Reading=258.664, Impulse Count=258664, kwh=1.295
Sensor=8, Time=21:59:25 Meter Reading=258.669, Impulse Count=258669, kwh=1.3

So the error rate seems about constant with about 675 phantom pulses per hour
