I got an Optismart to use with my Envi. I'm having trouble pairing it though.
I follow the procedure, but I never get anything other than dashes on the display. I would like to use the optismart on my main meter. However for completeness I also tried to pair it with a another channel. Still nothing.


I also have a bridge and I'm a bit confused as it's still exporting data to mycurrentcost.com, but clearly not my household usage. It looks like its defaulting to another channel, in this case either the IAM that is on my fridge (Channel 1) or the old clamp which is on my PV cable (Channel )

I understand that the Envi doesn't support absolute meter reading as the EnviR but it should be able to display usage from an Optismart ?

the Optismart probe LED is flashing, so I think it's seeing the Ampy meter light flashing.

With the optismart are you holding down the button till the LED flashes three times?

It should then keep flashing fast.

Then on the envi channel of your choice hold down the right button till the envi led flashes, then release.

The envi should then pair with the live display of the Optismart.

Thanks from me also. Received my OptiSmart today for my PV setup and couldn't get it to pair. Its showing zero now not dashes so fingers crossed I should start uploading real live data to pvoutput.org tomorrow!
