I must admit, the web interface seems poor especially when they had the devices under beta test for over a year.

Just had a strange error in the meter count which went up 40 units or so and then back down again.

The lowest graph shows the phantom energy issue with OptiSmart on a meter on no load e.g. on solar panels

The Real Time data representation is IMHO pretty poor and perhaps a stacked column at the time the units were used would be better plus a daily total in the correct units.

Your data from this morning look OK to me. The cosm Channel 8 (= cumulative pulse-count) shows an upward-only trend, and Channel 7 shows what looks to be the correct corresponding power characteristics, also shown in your Dashboard image.

I agree that the Dashboard is poor for gas. CC haven't attempted to provide calibration for the real-time power data (shown incorrectly as Watts). Also, the real-time power data (by the nature of how it is generated at the transmitter) omits short-term power surges that are a characteristic of gas boilers. But overall I'm finding the device and the data to be very useful.

Had some trouble saving my feeds on cosm after I had claimed my device.

Automan - your Channel 8 shows a massive blip (from 298 to 928211 to 298) this morning; it can't have originated from the GaSmart transmitter because if it had the measurement wouldn't have dropped back to 298 (which is the cumulative pulse count since you started using the transmitter); so something else is causing the problem - maybe your EnviR is duff?

Thanks for posting these comments on the GaSmart Device. I've read through all the comments and I will have a meeting early next week with the team and look to implement some improvements based on this feedback.

Its the end of the month and time to read and submit my meter readings.

And yes, my GaSmart actually agrees with my gas meter
