I have tried all the many options to get the data cable working to no avail.

I'm running Windows 7 64 bit with service pack 1 on a quad core i7
It will not work on my other windows 7 32 bit machine either.

I've tried all the uninstall procedures mentioned on various forums.

I've tried all the suggested drivers including the one from currentcost.com and the latest from the prolific.com.tw site (version 3.3.17.203).

Seems that a number of people have had this problem in the past.

Is there a way to test the cable to see if it is the problem?

Hello

Can you try using these drivers and let me know how you get on:

running win7 32 bit and after trying everything found this post and it also worked for me, well at least the cable is now saying its installed ok.... the software still wont work, connection to database couldnt be established
