seems that the new dashboard has some very dubious calculations this one is plainly wrong ....

its only runs for about 8 hours and it only gets above 1kW for a brief spike yet it reckons 8.59 kWh - I dont think so, I downloaded the data in question from pachube and that give a much more reasonable 2.31 kWH.

Since the energy converted in a power vs time graph is the area under the line its quite easy to calculate - in the case of the pachube data summing all the (power*interval readings) and dividing the result by 3,600,000 directly give an approximation in kWh.

and again today

cc dashboard reading 8.38kWh(looks wrong 16 hours at less than 400 w with about 5 spikes above) readings summed from pachube 5.2kWh

Agreed, if I calculate from pachube feed the total for today is 41kWh. My.currentcost however is showing 31kWh. It's the same if I compare last week, about 100kWh difference in total compared to EnviR (and EnviR is higher). There was short time when bridge was frozen but that was only a couple of hours so it does not begin to explain the whole difference...:)

Any comments from currentcost?

edit: other notes: last day EnviR = 41kWh and my.currentcost = 42,8kWh. At one point today my.currentcost went up to 44kWh, then came back to 41kWh. At the moment pachube gives 45,2 and dashboard 42,8

edit2: dashboard & pachube full day yesterday both = 61,63kWh -great! Yet, enviR is showing 64kWh, almost 7% difference even when data is based on the same device...
