The bridge has never been very reliable for posting data to pachube/cosm. I upgraded my bridge by sending it to Florida and after that it seemed to work better but it has been frozen for the past few weeks. (I don't know why I had to send it off to get updated since every other device I have can have the software updated with a ... duh... software patch.)
Anyway, I now know that reporting data to pachube/cosm isn't that difficult since I put together a small arduino project to monitor temperatures and other data around the house and post it to cosm and it has been working flawlessly for the past month.
Why does my current cost bridge keep "freezing" ?
Why is the software so unreliable?
Why is the support so poor?

I am only an amateur hacker but I was able to put together a cosm reporting project that has worked flawlessly from day one.
Why can't the current cost people put together some software that works????

Are there problems again with CC. My device is showing as frozen, and nothing has been updated into pvoutput since 19:00 13/7/12 (GMT +10)

I was thinking of taking the bridge apart to see what was inside and thanks to you it looks like it's an Arduino. I have some code that works well to post to Cosm so just need to work out parsing the output from the CC.

The CC Bridge is pretty much useless (erratic for years... has been frozen for past 3 weeks... only one of many episodes) so I'm not worried about damaging it. This is definitely better than just throwing it away.
I think I understand the instructions and it would be useful to have another Arduino around.

You are right that it is probably a waste of time to re-purpose the Bridge when I can easily purchase an Arduino or Raspberry Pi for less.
As far as support from Current Cost, they usually respond sluggishly and it usually involves some stupid nonsense like them having to delete the bridge and re-register it.
I am just so tired of spending time on this poorly designed and maintained system. I'd rather spend my time on something more reliable and useful.

I have my today's reading well until 90 min ago, these days is inconsistent, and the problem I believe is the Current Cost server which is the one that receives our data and transform into a graphic
