I want to use IAMs to monitor my dishwasher and washer/dryer, but I turn them on on socket only when they are in use so once or twice a day. Will this setup work correctly? What happens with graph on dashboard when IAM is off? Does it display 0 (as I want) or gap? Or maybe it has backup battery to maintain transmission?

Does really nobody know the answer?
Could somebody who uses IAM just unplug one for 5 min and check what's on graph please?
Would really appreciate.

I have now given this a try....

The my.currentcost.com graph seems to keep displaying the same power consumption the IAM was monitoring when it was unplugged.

The EnviR displays dashes as expected.

When the IAM is plugged back into power the my.currentcost.com goes to zero.

I wonder if they did this so the graph would not show data loss due to poor radio reception between IAM and EnviR?

I'm pretty sure it display zero. I have 2 IAM's which I move around the house. For a day or so, one was sat on my desk, and I'm pretty sure the graph displayed zero during that period, not blank.
