I'd love Current Costs IAM's to have inbuilt surge arresting, to protect the devices plugged into them.
It would be great if they could get smaller too.

Building surge protection in would put up the unit cost and weight.

Smaller would be nice at it looks like they are using the old case of the Ecomanger modules which had remote load switching also built in.

Again, not always a good idea unless it can be set to power on after a power cut or you may find the content of your freezer ruined.
