OK, great. I've used the new padlock feature, and got my info, but I'm still unable to add the feed into my pachube console. I'm not clear on what the URL should be - can someone help?

jheerink - if you make the device public, you will see the Environment ID (or feed ID) for that device. You could then use that Environment ID for the various widgets and apps at Pachube.

I wonder why a user that already has a bridge connected to the meter, will want to use this feature, since it needs the RJ45 cable and also a PC to be on-line 24x7 just to upload data to pachube. Having a PC on-line just for that, i find it very energy inefficient.
Wouldn't be much easier if we could just register our meter via the bridge ID to pachube directly, like we do in CC dashboard?

I would also love if the CC dashboard could have the possibility to upload data but also download data in several formats.
In my opinion a user customisable dashboard would just be perfect.

I want the feed to be public visible.

We use it in a school building and at the moment you can only view the consumption
when you have an access code. We want to publish it on our website, without the login

jheerink, i will publish a tutorial how to do this. However, it is quite straight forward. Just click the padlock next to the bridge in the Devices panel to go public. You can then embed your graph anywhere. Using your Environment ID, which is exposed in the Devices panel when public, you can use a range of gadgets to share your data: http://apps.pachube.com/

re the last post. What is required is a connection to the data streams so that they can be saved and logged. The apps seem to only display line graphs which is fine but I also want to get the daily historical bar graph that Power Meter produced but haven't a clue how to produce it .A tutorial on how to actually access the saved data ideally so it can be downloaded once a week or once a month into something simple like excel would be great.

I'm sure (hope) its relatively easy if you know what you are doing  but I can't find out how to get a stream running. I can view a graph if I insert my feed into someone elses (ie change their stream number) but can't work out how to do it for mine :( The existing Current Cost apps look as though they require the CC unit to be connected to a local computer rather than using data from the bridge (probably haven't caught up yet) - there must be a url or something that identifies the bridge and the data streams from it, not just the stream number. (is this indentified via the Current Cost dashboard?)

I know i sound thick but this is beyond me at the moment

It would be nice if there was a simple xml feed that gave the current power consumption, temperature, daily and weekly power consumption, and maybe the last 7 days. That way we can access this information without having to go through a 3rd party website.
