Hi

Is there any sign of a Heating Oil monitoring sensor? or can an Optismart be used with an existing flow sensor that has an LED pulse read out?

It's just a counter with count sent to envi via a channel, so I'd have thought so - so long as the sensor will fit onto led, and external light filtered out - by bluetac or adhesive tape.

Assuming the OptiSmart actually work as advertised producing accurate data...

I have yet to see the OptiSmart metering function work anywhere near accurately...

Automan.

Is this really true in general or is it just a single instance? - don't they mostly work? There are comments about bad readings on a specific meter type on the optismart forum. Have cc done anything? - think I know the answer! Can you pls elaborate (on optismart forum). It's just got to be easy to make a pulse counter work! John
