I'm trying to work this out :? . If the optismart shows up as appliance 9 and it's reading the electric meter which presumably is an acurate total of the whole house, what happens to the whole house recording/display if you've got IAMs as well. It looks like it wil end up being the sum of the electric meter and any power logged by the IAMs which would be greater than the actual usage on the meter. What gets logged and what data gets sent down the line by the Bridge?

On Facebook it says the release is imminent :)

Thus more questions.

1. Can one EnviR handle two electric meter OptiSmarts? (for the growing number of consumers with PV installations and an export meter).

Note: It seems the that so called "Smart Meter" specification did not include the ability to submit generated power so is of no use to a customer with a PV installation.

2. When Gas and Electric OptiSmarts go on sale do they use / tie up two channels on the EnviR?

My optismart turned up today (which is pretty good, as I only ordered it from ebay yesterday afternoon!) and does have to be paired twice, Ch.9 just says "data" so i'm not sure what the "meter read" is
